System Earthing and Protective Earthing In Utilities and Industrial Electrical Networks Course
Course Overview:
The course offers extensive training on the methods and techniques employed in grounding electrical systems including their contextual use in substations, buildings, and sensitive circuits.
The gradual protection more the power system will be seen, as well as the electrode system for protective grounding and the grounding system for electrical noise and surge protection.
Some of the presented sections address how to design a grounding system with considerations on soil resistivity, grounding configurations, and substations' grounding. Other areas include, but are not limited to, the control of static electricity, lightning protection, and the significance of local codes.
This course is useful for engineers, technicians, and designers engaged in electrical systems and power protection as it prepares them in applying adequate methods to provide grounding.
