Practical Fiber-Optics Technology: Certified Fiber Optics Professional (CFOP) Course
Course Overview:
This training course equips students in a way that they are able to clear the examination and receive a certification as a Certified Fiber Optics Professional (CFOP).
It includes the introduction to the processes and technology used in fiber optic communication systems that include system design, installation, splicing, termination and testing.
The students will get practical experience in cable preparation and jointing and trouble shooting methods, and the students will find out the types of networks FTTx, LAN, and legacy. Proper safety measures and the handling of fiber and the application of state-of-the-art testing techniques are also considered areas.
The course is directed towards engineers and technical specialists working in communications, telecommunications, information technology and similar spheres and this program helps its participants design and manage complex fiber optic systems optimally.
