Course Overview:

This course delves into the specifics of distribution transformers; their types, operation, testing, and maintenance.

The integrated design encompasses a hands-on approach; along with the theory of transformers, the classification, vector group and efficiency, transformation of K factor and autotransformers also are explored. 

The course further discusses other pertinent aspects such as transformer loss, earthing, protection and parallel operations of the transformer. There are also plenty of hands-on topics such as oil quality tests, electrical testing standards, and preventive maintenance procedures. 

Targeted to electrical power engineers, supervisors and technicians, this training furnishes the participants with the knowledge and practical skills to ensure effective operations, safety and maintenance of transformers in distribution systems.
