Course Overview:
This course focuses on understanding in detail electrical fault protection systems employed in the electricity distribution industry.
Participants will examine the nature of electrical faults, their influence, protection techniques, and the details of relay operation such as selection, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting.
The course includes protection schemes for transformers, generators, buses, transformers, and distribution lines, including fault coordination and relay field testing.
