Course Overview:
The Managing and Control Contractors Training Course is aimed at ensuring that participants acquire skills relevant in managing and supervising contractors at any stage of a project.
The course ends with practical skills such then allow attending participants to adequately prepare and appropriately select contractors, enter client / contractor agreements and draw up a full HSE Project Plan.
Such emphasis is placed also on other aspects such as contractors’ performance monitoring and evaluation and areas of performance enhancement. Some of the key areas include project construction management and planning, contractor performance appraisal and management, risk assessment and safety training, safety monitoring and control as well as the management of safety based performance evaluations.
This training is suitable for managers of projects or buyers/merchants, engineers, project managers and HSE managers, and overall improves the ability of the trainees to promote safe, effective, and successful management of contract workers.
