Improving Operational Efficiency of ESP Course
Introduction:
This course will provide instruction on the design, sizing, installation, application, and efficiency of electric submersible pumps (ESP). Further, this course will cover the theory and practice of ESP data analysis & diagnosis and how this can be used to provide a complete understanding of the oil well, reservoir, and pump performance. Case histories illustrating the analysis technique will be presented and discussed. Participants will learn how to apply proper data analysis & interpretation methods in order to extend ESP run-life and optimize well production. A practical workshop session will be used to analyze and interpret real field data from participants (if possible). A text and worksheets will be provided to the participants for manual solutions. A calculator should be brought to the course.
