Course Overview:
This course focuses on power distribution systems and protection, particularly in industrial plants.
The participants will also learn about system design, type of equipment to be utilized, and the electrical codes. Other topics that are covered in this course includes estimation of load, voltage levels, short circuit analysis, and optimization of load flows.
This course also delves into the configurations of system earthing, coordination of protective devices, and application of standard equipment such as transformers, motors, and switch geer.
The course is directed towards engineers ,plant supervisors, and maintenance or operational staff who are concerned with design and/or use of complex industrial power supply systems.
