Course Overview:
This course was developed to provide students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to properly commission, maintain, troubleshoot and handle emergencies pertaining to electrical installs.
While participating in this course, students learn important information that includes electrical safety, adhering to IEC 60364, regulations regarding wiring, and methods for conducting tests after electrical units are installed. There will be discussions about the operating of hazardous area equipment, switchgear, transformers, power electronics, etc.
The course covers other relevant topics such as planning of maintenance activities, control of technical documentation and measures for prevention of failures.
It is aimed at enhancing the skills of managers, electrical engineers, and technicians to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems under different operating conditions.
