Course Overview:
This course deals with the electric power systems in their entirety, including generation, distribution, and transmission.
Participants will study the generation of power from traditional sources and non-traditional sources, basics of distribution systems, and various key factors concerning the maintenance and design of transmission lines.
Power system operation, interaction, and control including SCADA systems and protection methods for distribution systems, transformers, and generators are also covered.
Designed for electrical power engineers, supervisors, and technicians, this training focuses on system reliability, handling of faults, and managing power flow in the optimization of modern power system operations.
