Course Overview:
This course aims at providing individuals with the relevant practices of measuring the employee’s potential and capabilities by concentrating on the appropriate application of the 360 degree assessment tools during the processes of selection and training of employees. Delegates will learn how to select, administer and interpret occupational tests in an adequate and dependable way.
Furthermore, this course is suitable for HR and line managers wishing to plan and create assessment and development centers. Participants of the course will also implement several assessment procedures and go through various centers that support the business's objectives as well as evaluate different 360 assessment methods.
The course will tackle as well the problems of linking development activities and the best use of assessment centers. While it is appreciated that participation in Assessor training or having experience in the use of objective assessment is desirable, it is not a requirement for attendance.
Course Objectives:
This course focuses on the core skills of measuring the aptitudes and abilities of employees. It enables delegates to implement reliable and valid 360 assessment tools for employee selection and development; they will understand all aspects of occupational testing, including test selection, test administration, and interpretation.
Who Should Attend?
HR and line managers, who wish to develop an assessment or development centre and would like clarity about key design stages. Whilst not essential, it is preferable that delegates have received Assessor training and/or have experience of objective assessment.
Course Outlines:
This course will enable delegates to:
- Design and implement effective multiple assessment procedures for selection and development
- Align assessment centers with organizational goals
- Experience and evaluate a range of 360 assessment methods, e.g. group exercises, in-trays, and fact finding exercises, to measure organizational competencies
- Integrate development activities that facilitate learning in development centers
- Practice objective 360 assessment techniques
- Ensure best practice in the use of 360 assessment and development centers.
